Queen I have heard only recently ,before that I was only familiar with the song"Who Wants To Live Forever".Inspired me to buy the greatest hits package. And well, they have done pretty generic songs,I could infer from the hits package, but some songs stick out very vividly in my mind and hit the right chords.Freddie Mercury was an excellent vocalist,Brian May sometimes wakes up on some songs to give his guitar a twist, the drummer is nondescript except for some moments of inspiration.

Well, the songs in red font in the above two track listings are the tracks that stick out most in my memory or the ones that i like most. There are a couple of weak tracks specially on the Queen+  thingy but the good ones make up very well for them. The best song that Queen has ever done has to be "The Show Must Go On".That song is so majestic. So touching dammit.I mean these lines inspire me "I'll face it with a grin/I'll never give in".Even the one without Freddie(w/Elton John)is great. It's life and the vocals are not that good."Another One Bites the dust" has been very well ruined by Wycleaf  whatever her name is(he/she?)i hate rap so what do i know. Some rap lovi' idiot may get introduced to rock this way so I should actually awarding this shitty song some points."You don't fool me"is a SEXY song. How he makes me dance and sing! How many times I press the rewind button!Dammit!i will not buy their albums because i think I've got their number. They bring out lots of wimpy and boring songs.(Thank god its christmas, one vision,It's A Kind of Magic,Invisible Man being some examples).Another song that is absolutely butt-kicking is"I want It all".Brian May's best riff ever i would say.And John Deacon actually comes out of his reverie and tries to do something other then making a steady, fart like noise.

All right ,not fart like.

I enjoy Queen, but not all of their songs and hence the rewind button comes pretty handy. And that spoils an album for me.But these albums are a good buy for a casual fan like me.(A fan of Freddie Mercury's voice,i mean I sometimes wonder if he was vocalist for AC/DC i would have enjoyed their songs more.(Bon Scott isn't much more then squealing and shouting, ditto for Brian Johnson.)

A word about Innuendo. The song is a absolute classic.Heavenly.You know the classical guitar that comes in the song.It always gives me an image of a beautiful girl in red skirts(Yeah,I meant RED) dancing.I don't know why it should be so.But that's the way it is.The opening makes me imagine a desert with the wind blowing hard.

P-S-My imagination recently decided to give the girl(the dancing girl in the red skirt) a face.Sometimes it is Catherine Zeta Jones, sometimes it is Penelope Cruz.(I prefer girls with dark hair.)
