What the Heck,I said!I am prejudiced against anything modern and like to dwell on the Old Is Gold thingy.I mean Pink Floyd,Beatles, anything 60's ,70's I like.(Love, more like).I hardly listen to anything of the 90's.(Nirvana,Pearl Jam,R.E.M are some examples)But I got this from the friendly neighbourhood guy and this beats everything of the 90's hollow! There is a whole lot of things going on here.Blistering guitars, great drums......it's all here. Some times the songs get a little more ugly than required(Limo Wreck),too loud(KickStand),but never boring(Maybe I did yawn once while Half was going on).

They scarcely let up on the tension throughout. This is a Heavy Rock album. No cheesy ballads. No lyrics about love and all that crap.Nearly all the songs all the time are interesting.it might take a little time for people not used to this thing to dig this though. The vocals are as good as you could hope for.I mean Hard Rock, what do you expect?Chris Cornell does a good job.

All right ,I don't like Limo Wreck.I don't like the punk song KickStand.I don't like Half. But that's all.Black Hole Sun is a classic.Superunknown starts off with a classic intro, great solo after the 3 minute mark, good, innovative drumming, might just be my favourite.Head Down has a goddamn melancholy riff man!

Smacks a little of Grunge but this is all in all a solid hard rock album. They broke up after 1 more LP I know so they are no longer an ongoing concern.I know that's what everybody's gonna say.

The End(Did you think I was gonna write about every song?!! )

Coming maybe not that soon-Badmotorfinger
