Aaaaaaaaaargh!
What a hell of a album! Instant Classic, that's what it is folks, without a shadow
of a doubt..........
Ok,most probably you won't like all of the songs the first time around..for example the eerie "I Bleed"
and a few others...but at the end of a few listens...i liked every track that is featured on this album.........
Of course,the
Pixies were very inventive.....everyone knows that ...but what a mix of punk, indie and pop melodies we have on our hands!!!!...........and
of course the vocals are terrific ...check out my favourite cut on this album.."Debaser" for an example......
Very catchy,very
good........relentless...........if i may say so........
And look at the way Black Francis, who by the way,is the frontman and the primary songwriter of the group, howls !!!
Look at his disticntive and blood curdling vocal deliveries!!!!
And that's all........this album deserves to be bought.......but
if you can't get it download it from www.maxalbums.com a very good site.......it is..........(that
line reminded me of Yoda.....here is another one....." fuck the shut up"......)
PS-Black Francis wrote Here Comes Your Man at the tender age of 14.What a man !
