No one at the bridge (4:15) IV. Panacea (3:12) V. Bacchus plateau (3:12) VI. The fountain (3:48) You might
have noticed folks that I've decided to scrap crappy introductory passages unless I possess at least 70% of the
artists discography.Or in cases where I have already written it.I am not going to go and delete what I've written ,sir,no
way!
Right,Rush.I've mixed feelings about 'em.Lot of mess ups in their albums. And my maths teacher has a more pleasant
voice than Geddy Lee.The idiot. Why can't he sing more properly,or better, not sing at all?Virtuosos all of the Rush members
on their respective instruments.(Unless you count Geddy Lee's vocal chords as instruments.A 5 year old could sing better than
the guy,honestly......).
The whole blarmed thing starts off with the butt kickin' Bastille Day.Oh yes.I'll give 'em this one.The only flawless song
on record. The whole thing immediately comes back to earth with a thud with the patchy" I think I'm going bald".There are some
great riffs hidden here and there ,in whole of the album. But they insist, dammit on inserting some irritating repetitive guitar
riff in between. With that idiot screaming."Lakeside Park"is all right and pleasing and soothing and all that crap in the end. Then
the three part story about some wicked guy comin' and kicking everybody's ass comes up,"The Necromancer".(At least that's
what I think it is,I can only understand a quarter of what the guy sings.)The beginning is good, then Alex chips in with the
vocal synthesizer.Sounds like the necromancer issuing his threat to everybody.Great solo in between. Then a weird synth. And
the whole blasted thing rambles on.The last part is ripped from The Who's Baba'O'Reilly if you want to know.Or maybe they
did it unconsciously. Then comes the "The fountain of Lambeth".Lot of mixed up parts.Good in parts complete with a drum solo.(Only
1 minute).
